Do I Really Need To Make a Budget To Save Money?

So you say you know where all your money goes and you don’t need to track a penny keep up with it?
Well here is my challenge to you. Write down every penny you spend for one month and I do mean every penny.

Take the total of just one ☝️ unnecessary item for the month. Multiply it by 12, for the months in a year, and then multiply that result by five to represent five years.

This is how much you could have saved AND earned interest on in just five years!

? This is the very reason all of us need to make a budget to save money.

You will be shocked at how much the smallest expenses add up to. If we can just get control of the small expenses that really don’t contribute to our main goals, we can enjoy financial success.

It’s the little things that count‼️

?Cut back what you spend on lunch from ten dollars a day to five dollars a day; in a five day work week you save $25 a week… $100 a month… $1200 a year… $6000 in five years….plus interest!?

See what I mean?
It really IS the little things and you still eat lunch everyday AND that is only one ☝️ area where you save money in your daily life without doing without anything you really need. I’m sure if you keep looking, you will find other daily expenses to cut back on.

Set some specific long term and short term goals. There are no wrong answers here.

If it’s important to you, then it is important period!

Whether you want to be able to make a down payment on a new house, save for college for the kids, buy a scat pack sports car, take a vacation to Cancun..anything!

Then that is your goal and your reason to get a handle on your financial situation NOW.
